FAQs: FAQ

Are you accepting new patients?

We are always accepting new patients! However, we do not take walk-ins. To schedule an appointment, call us during office hours at (603) 965-3642. We will take basic contact info and set up an initial visit. We build time into that first visit for paperwork, so no need to come in early! Initial visits typically are an hour and a half.

We do require an $85 deposit when scheduling your initial visit. That deposit is not an additional fee--we put it towards your initial visit. If you have a copay, then the deposit will be a credit towards as many appointments as it will cover.

At your initial visit you will get checked in and fill out some paperwork (if you have not brought it with you or completed it online). The doctor will take you back and go over your paperwork and talk through any concerns you may have. You will then have about 10 minutes of muscle work and heat for another 10 minutes. Then the doctor will adjust you. Plan on the first appointment taking about an hour and a half.

What types of health insurance do you accept?

We accept Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and VA CCN Optum. We do NOT accept Medicare or Medicaid. We would be happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

All Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans are REQUIRED to have your primary care physician listed on the card. Otherwise, your claim will be denied and you will be responsible for the full charged amount.

When scheduling your first appointment, we require a picture of your insurance card prior to 48 hours of your visit so that we can look up your benefits before your initial visit. You can email or text our office the picture of your insurance card.

Do you adjust children?

Yes! All our doctors are trained in child adjustment. They can adjust babies as young a few days old.

Do you require weekly visits?

No. We believe that every body is unique and therefore should have a unique care plan! We have patients that need weekly adjustments and others that can schedule out a month or more. The doctor will give suggestions about how often you should be seen, but ultimately the decision is yours!

What techniques do you use?

Our doctors use Diversified, Thompson drop, Activator, and Webster techniques. At your initial adjustment, the doctors will explain how they adjust and will make sure that you are comfortable with the adjustment.

What is that popping noise?

The popping sound that you may hear during your adjustment is known as Joint cavitation. It comes from tiny pockets of air building up in your joints being released--which helps reduce the amount of pressure on the spine.

Do you require x-rays?

We do not require x-rays or a doctor referral. If you have x-rays that you would like us to look at, you can bring them to your visit and the doctors can take a look! If after your initial visit the doctors feel x-rays would be beneficial, they will refer you out for them.
